Both Japanese and Chinese by blood, born and raised in Hong Kong, and currently based in London, Sakura's music is crafted to tell her story through lyrically and emotionally compelling, folky, soft rock sounds. Musically, she draws influence from her heritage and her upbringing in Asia whilst incorporating her love of western folk, which has been massively influential to her songwriting. Her debut release, in the summer of 2017 ‘Evolve’ is a culmination of her spiritual and emotional ties to asian culture and philosophies, and her multi-cultural upbringing.

Sakura is currently working on a 4 track E.P titled 'Roots', scheduled to be released in early 2019.
