Rich Main
Rich Main is a London based DJ who has played at venues such as Pacha Ibiza all the way to small intimate locations like Soho Farmhouse. Also known as Kalyde, he is a house and techno producer/DJ who has risen through the ranks at a remarkable pace, quickly making a mark on the scene with his engaging mixes and instantly recognisable sonic direction. Despite being a relative newcomer to the scene, Rich signed his first deal in 2015. Since then he had a stream of successful releases on some of electronic music’s most sought after imprints; including MadTech, Elrow, AVOTRE and Lost. He has also remixed industry heavyweights like Sidney Charles, Fatboy Slim and Flashmob, all whilst garnering unanimous praise for his distinctive style and productions skills. Outside ofthe studio, Kalyde has had widespread success with a succession of mixes on benchmark radio stations Rinse FM and BBC Radio 1, the latter providing continued radio airtime for his latest releases, including more than a few spins and ongoing support from taste maker Annie Mac & Pete Tong.
After being tipped as one to watch in early 2016 by BBC Radio 1 presenter Monki, Rich’s international touring schedule has gone from strength to strength with him now becoming a regular fixture at some of the world’s clubbing hotspots, including playing the main room at infamous London institution; Fabric. He was also chosen to spearhead the 15th anniversary of Fatboy Slim's album 'Halfway Between The Gutter And The Stars’: to celebrate the re-release, Kalyde produced the official remix of ‘Star 69’, released on Skint in June 2015.
Looking forward to 2017, Kalyde continues to reach new heights with an ever growing repertoire of stand out productions, including a forthcoming Digital & Vinyl release on German Label BLANK which is already getting support from Techno legend KiNK.
